Removal of tube ends on front tube sheet
Air pump removed
Air reservoirs and associated plumbing removed
Removal of fireman’s side injector
Double boiler check valve removed
Sand dome removed and cleaned
We will round out February with needle scaling 734’s boiler.

734 has been placed in the shop for running gear evaluation, ultrasound mapping, and removing existing plumbing for replacement, and continues accessory removal.

734’s new boiler flues are purchased and acquired from Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum through a purchasing partnership.

734’s jewelry (cab appliances, badges, other hardware) are removed and catalogued for storage.
